Articles and photographs
We write content for newspapers and magazines. Travel stories that mix tales, roadside encounters, passing thoughts and itinerant ideas, mixed with teatime conversations, a spoon of everyday beauty and, here and there, a pinch of politics if Boris is аround. We travel, observe, write and take photographs.
We are happy to write in English, Spanish or Bulgarian. If you are interested in including a quality "roving article" in your newspaper of magazine, please let us know by email: [email protected]

To Magic Places - our first book of travel stories
A selection of stories and fairytales we made up by the roadside with hand-drawn maps and illustrations. This is not a guidebook, nor a proper travel narrative, and only some may dare following our dubious hand-drawn maps. It will not tell you where to go or what to see, but it will hopefully remind you that sometimes it’s wise to take wrong turns. Because the world is large, and adventure lurks around each corner.
Here you can read about how we wrote this book along the way. And if you like what you see...
Written and illustrated by Boris Kanev and Marta Martinez Samalea
Fist edition September 2015. 105 pages, 42 hand-drawn maps and illustrations. by the authors.
